The STM32MP1 MPUs are based on the high-performance dual-core Arm® Cortex®-A7 32-bit RISC Core operating up to 800MHz. These energy-efficient application processors are designed to provide rich performance in high-end wearables and other low-power embedded and consumer applications.

STM32 Discovery Kits

STMicroelectronics STM32 Discovery Kits are an affordable and complete solution for evaluating STM32 MCUs. The kits include the necessary infrastructure to demonstrate specific device characteristics. A HAL library and comprehensive software examples allow for benefiting from device features and added values. Extension connectors give access to most of the device's I/Os, and make the connection of add-on hardware possible. The kits are ideal for prototyping and feature an integrated debugger/programmer.

STM32MP157A-DK1 Discovery Kit

STMicroelectronics STM32MP157A-DK1 Discovery Kit allows for easy development of applications using STM32 MPU OpenSTLinux distribution software. The OpenSTLinux software is used for the main processor, and STM32CubeMP1 software is used for the co-processor. The STMicroelectronics kit includes the ST-LINK embedded debug tool, LEDs, push buttons, and one Ethernet 1Gbps connector. Also included are one USB Type-C™ OTG connector, four USB Type-A Host connectors, and one HDMI® transceiver. One stereo headset jack with an analog microphone and one microSD™ connector is also included. To expand the functionality of the STM32MP157A-DK1 discovery kits, two GPIO expansion connectors are also available for Arduino™ and Raspberry Pi® shields.
