Inrush Current Limiters

Amphenol Advanced Sensors Inrush Current Limiters are UL approved and have a wide operating temperature range of -50°C to +175°C. These devices are NTC disc thermistors with uninsulated lead wires and offer excellent mechanical strength. They function as power resistors, which are able to limit surge current when high cold resistance drops to low hot resistance with current flow. Amphenol Advanced Sensors Inrush Current Limiters are suitable for PCB mounting. Typical applications include switching power supplies, fluorescent lamps, inverters, and motors.
