TE Connectivity / Linx Technologies HumPRO-A Long Range Transceivers
TE Connectivity / Linx Technologie HumPRO-A™ Series Transceivers are complete long-range, wideband RF transceiver modules with a microcontroller and a front-end amplifier block. The HumPRO-A Modules deliver robust data transfer with a frequency hopping protocol. The integrated front-end amplifier boosts transmitter output power to +25dBm and receiver sensitivity to -108dBm. This 133dB link boost gives the HumPRO-A Series Transceivers a range of up to 10km (6.2 miles) while supporting a data rate of 115.2kbps.
HumPRO-A Modules use a standard UART interface for module configuration and data transfer. A few simple serial commands are all that are needed for configuration, making the modules suitable for direct connection to UARTs on many microcontrollers, USB converters, and RS-232 converters.
Housed in a tiny reflow-compatible SMD package, the HumPRO-A Transceiver Module requires no external RF components except an antenna, which greatly simplifies integration and lowers assembly costs. The 900MHz HumPRO-A Modules is FCC and Industry Canada modular certified.
