Texas Instruments CC3220 SimpleLink™ Microcontrollers (MCUs) are a platform that consists of Wi-Fi, low energy, Sub-1GHz and host MCUs, which all share a common, easy-to-use development environment. These devices come with a single core software development kit (SDK) and rich toolset. A one-time integration of the SimpleLink platform enables the user to add any combination of the SimpleLink's devices into your design. This feature allows for 100 percent code reuse when your design requirements change. With the Texas Instruments CC3220, a designer has new features and capabilities that further simplify the connectivity of things to the Internet. Those capabilities include IPv6, enhanced Wi-Fi provisioning, enhanced power consumption, enhanced file system security, Wi-Fi AP connection, etc.
