Texas Instruments TAS6424EQ1EVM Amplifier Evaluation Module (EVM) showcases the TAS6424E-Q1, a 2.1Mhz, four-channel, digital input Class-D audio amplifier solution for automotive infotainment. The 2.1Mhz switching frequency allows for significantly reduced inductor size. The TAS6424E-Q1 delivers 25W (10% THD+N) per channel into 4Ω with a 14.4V supply and integrates I2C diagnostics and protection. The TAS6424E-Q1 includes spread spectrum technology to meet CISPR25 Class 5 EMI compliance standards. The Texas Instruments TAS6424EQ1EVM is a stand-alone evaluation module. It has single power supply input, USB control via PurePath Control Console 3 (PPC3), and two digital (I2S) audio input options.
