PI5USB30213 USB 3.1 Switch with I²C Control

Diodes Incorporated PI5USB30213 is a bi-directional, dual differential channel Mux / DeMux switch for USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C connector applications. The switch includes a plug-in detector for Type-C connectors (CC Sensing), an integrated 2:1 USB 3.1 mux/demux, and an integrated V_CONN switch to power active cables. Diodes Incorporated PI5USB30213 supports both I²C and pin control based on ADDR pin setting. This device utilizes CC pins for port attachment, detachment, role detection, cable orientation, and Type-C current mode control. The PI5USB30213 also delivers high-speed signal integrity at low-power dissipation.
