Many battery-powered devices in various applications share similar safety and control elements, such as cleaning equipment, construction tools, garden tools, and power tools. Littelfuse e-Bike solutions can be used for motor drive and comfort units and displays.

Off-Board Charger Sub-Unit Power Converters

Littelfuse Off-Board Charger Sub-Unit Power Converters are required for DC charging stations capable of charging to 80% SOC in under 30 minutes. These fast-charging applications require modular power converters, which can be paralleled to cater to different power levels, thereby enabling fast charging. The most critical parameters are energy density and system efficiency. A sub-unit power converter in a DC charging station consists of an AC/DC power stage and DC/DC power stage integrated into the charging station.

Low Side Gate Driver ICs

IXYS Integrated Circuits offers an extensive portfolio of low-side MOSFET and IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) gate driver ICs. These drivers feature output current ratings from 1.5A to 30A and voltage ratings up to 40V and are available in DIP, SOIC, DFN, TO-220, and TO-263 packages. Automotive-grade AEC-Q100 gate drivers are available with 4A, 5A, 9A, and 14A outputs. IXYS Integrated Circuits low-side gate drivers are ultra-fast, high-current MOSFET and IGBT gate drivers that are optimized for high-efficiency performance in motor drive and power conversion applications.

Off-Highway Electric Vehicle Solutions

Littelfuse provides a wide range of solutions for off-highway electric vehicles. These electric vehicles share a similar architecture and have a power range from 48V to 400V. Off-highway electric vehicles include electric forklifts, golf carts, three-wheelers, tow tractors, compactors, and excavators.
