STMicroelectronics powerSTEP01 Controller and MOSFETs System-in-Package (SiP) devices integrate an SPI programmable controller with eight N-channel 16mΩ MOSFETs for stepper applications up to 85V. These modules provide full digital control of the motion through speed profile generation and positioning calculations. STMicroelectronics powerSTEP01 Controller and MOSFETs SiP devices integrate a dual low R_DS(on) full bridge with embedded non-dissipative overcurrent protection.

Stepper Motor Drivers

STMicroelectronics Stepper Motor Drivers are a portfolio of STSPIN stepper motor drivers spanning relatively simple ICs to more complex solutions, like solutions that need to drive a stepper motor using high-level motion commands autonomously. These commands come from the motor or motion control system host, such as a microcontroller, DSP, or FPGA. STSPIN stepper motor drivers provide a ready-to-use solution for motor and motion control systems in various voltage and current ratings. The STMicroelectronics drivers are available in many space-saving, thermally-enhanced packages.

The drivers are offered in an extensive range of voltage and current ratings. STMicroelectronics STSPIN motor drivers embed all the functions needed to drive motors efficiently. This is achieved with high accuracy and includes an advanced motion profile generator.
