EV Series EdgMOV™ High Surge Disc Varistors

Bourns EV Series EdgMOV™ High Surge Disc Varistors deliver superior nominal and surge current capabilities in reduced case sizes. The series is available in 7mm, 10mm, 14mm, and 20mm model sizes with nominal surge ratings of 1.5kA, 3kA, 5kA, and 8kA, respectively. The AC operating voltage ranges from 150V to 550V, while the DC operating voltage ranges from 200V to 745V. Additional features include increased protection, RoHS compliance, and three lead style options. Bourns EV Series EdgMOV™ High Surge Disc Varistors can replace standard conventional MOV devices with a smaller varistor. Typical applications include white goods, smart meters, LED lighting, fire alarm systems, power supplies, and motor drives.
