Si828x-BAWB-KIT Gate Driver Board for XM3

Skyworks Solutions Inc. Si828x-BAWB-KIT Gate Driver Board (GDB) is specifically designed and tested to pair with Wolfspeed 1700V XM3 SiC FET-based half-bridge power modules. The XM3 half-bridge power modules maximize the benefits of Silicon Carbide while keeping the module and system design robust, simple, and cost-effective. The Si828x-BAWB-KIT board features a two-channel isolated gate driver reference design in a half-bridge configuration with a differential digital interface. The device also includes an optimized onboard isolated power supply, DESAT protection, gate drive current boost, user-configurable turn-on (RH), and turn-off (RL) gate resistors. The status indicator LEDs and test points enable simple evaluation and prototyping. Typical applications include a wide variety of inverter and motor control applications.
