Toshiba TC78H6 Brushed Motor Driver ICs are low-profile, dual-bridge driver ICs for DC motors incorporating DMOS in output transistors. The TC78H6 brushed motor driver ICs are silicon monolithic fabricated and can drive two DC brush motors or one stepping motor. These driver ICs feature built-in over-current detection, thermal shutdown circuit, and under-voltage lockout. The TC786 brushed motor driver ICs operate at 2.7V to 5.5V supply voltage range and -30°C to +85°C operating temperature range.

TC78H670FTG Ultra-Compact Stepper Motor Driver

Toshiba TC78H670FTG Ultra-Compact Stepper Motor Driver is a capable and flexible two-phase bipolar stepping motor driver that uses a PWM chopper and exhibits built-in dual H-bridges. This motor is suitable for 1 to 4-cell batteries or 12V-powered industrial, consumer, and healthcare devices requiring high integration. The TC78H670FTG stepping motor driver can operate from 2.5V to 16V with 2A output current handling capabilities. This motor driver features a 128-step resolution that offers ultra-precision control without a complex closed-loop design. The TC78H670FTG stepping motor driver allows full, half, quarter, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64, and 1/128 step operations.

Stepping Motor Driver ICs

Toshiba offers stepper motor driver ICs for precision applications commonly found in printers, scanners, actuators, automations, robotics, sorting machines, and many other industrial applications. Toshiba’s technologies include Active Gain Control (AGC), which automatically adjusts the current on demand with respect to the load, minimizing the power loss.
