NXP Semiconductors FRDM Development Platform for Kinetis L Series are small, low-power, cost-effective evaluation and development platforms perfect for quick application prototyping and demonstration of the of Kinetis L MCU families. These evaluation boards offer an easy-to-use mass-storage device mode flash programmer, a virtual serial port, and classic programming and run-control capabilities. The Freedom platform is compatible with the Arduino™ standard, enabling usage of a rich-set of third-party expansion boards. Many Freedom development platforms are also mbed™ enabled.

FRDM-KL28Z Freedom Development Platform

NXP FRDM-KL28Z Freedom Development Platform supports power supply voltage range from 1.71V to 3.6V. The platform features a KL28Z, a device boasting up to 512KB Flash and 128KB SRAM, and numerous analog and digital peripherals. The on-board interfaces include an RGB LED, a 6-axis digital sensor, a 3-axis digital angular rate gyroscope, an ambient light sensor and a capacitive touch slider.
