Bricklet

Bricklet Tinkerforge  là một mô-đun nhỏ gọn được thiết kế để mở rộng tính năng cho Tinkerforge Bricks, bổ sung cảm biến, I/O, HMI, cùng nhiều tính năng khác. Không giống Bricks, Bricklet không có kích thước cố định. Mỗi Bricklet có kích thước tối thiểu. Mỗi Brick có bốn đầu nối dùng cho Bricklet. Có thể kiểm soát Bricklet qua đầu nối USB của Brick được kết nối. Bricklet không được trang bị bộ xử lý nhưng mỗi Bricklet có một Giao diện lập trình ứng dụng (API) riêng. Từ góc độ lập trình, thiết bị được xử lý như một mô-đun độc lập. Khi khởi động, một Brick sẽ dò các Bricklet được kết nối. Plugin của Bricklet, được lưu trong EEPROM của Bricklet, được tải vào bộ nhớ flash của Brick. Điều này bổ sung chức năng mới cho Brick mà có thể sử dụng được từ máy tính cá nhân.
