Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ2286 Synchronous Buck Regulators
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ2286 Synchronous Buck Regulators are high-frequency regulators with integrated internal High-Side and Low-Side MOSFETs (HS-FETs and LS-FETs). These regulators feature configurable 2MHz to 4MHz switching frequency (fSW) during Forced Continuous Conduction Mode (FCCM). The MPQ2286 regulators also feature Over-Current Protection (OCP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), output Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), thermal warning, and over-temperature shutdown. These regulators operate from a 2.7V to 6V input voltage and provide a 12A output current with fixed-frequency, zero-delay PWM control for an optimal transient response.The MPQ2286 regulators include a digital interface with Packeting Error Checking (PEC) and integrated multi-page One-Time Programmable (OTP) memory for a high degree of configurability. These regulators are AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified and are available in a QFN-18 (3mm x 4mm) package with wettable flanks. The MPQ2286 regulators are used in automotive Point-of-Load (PoL), infotainment, DDR memory, and System-On-Chip (SOC) system cores.
