Adafruit 5907 Terminal PiCowbell
Adafruit 5907 Terminal PiCowbell can enhance Raspberry Pi Pico or Pico W projects with easy hardware connections and practical prototyping. The Adafruit 5907 Terminal PiCowbell features four 10-pin, 2.54" pitch screw terminal blocks that accommodate 18AWG to 26AWG solid or stranded wires, providing secure, accessible connections to each GPIO pin. Every pin is mapped 1-to-1, with ample ground connections for straightforward wiring. Pre-soldered socket headers make it a plug-and-play addition, ideal for quick setup without the option to use alternative headers.Features
- Screw terminal blocks for each matching pad on the Pico or Pico W, 40 total pins, 40 total blocks
- Single-row socket headers to plug in Pico or PicoW board
- Reset button that sticks out the end
- JST SH connector for I2C/Stemma QT/Qwiic connection
- Can use it for plain GPIO wiring without attaching I2C devices
- Extra set of 4 breakout holes next to the JST SH for more I2C connections or to re-assign the I2C port
- Provides 3V, GND, IO4 (SDA), and IO5 (SCL)
- 12 rows of 4-hole connected strips in the center area
- Every pad on the Pico has a duplicate hole pad next to it for solder-jumpering
- The ground pads have white silkscreen rectangles to easily identify, plus one long ground strip near the reset button
- One long strip of connected holes for 3.3V power
- Gold-plated pads for easy soldering
Applications
- Prototyping electronic circuits with Raspberry Pi Pico or Pico W
- Creating quick-connect GPIO interfaces for testing sensors and modules
- Building IoT devices with secure wire connections
- Developing educational kits for hands-on learning with Raspberry Pi
