Amphenol FCI Mini-SAS HD Connectors
Amphenol FCI Mini-SAS HD Connectors are part of a SAS-based storage I/O system that supports signal transmission rates of 6Gb/s, 12Gb/s, and 14Gb/s, meeting or exceeding SAS 2.1 and SAS 3.0 specifications. The Mini-SAS HD standards increase linear board density while doubling the maximum per-port aggregate bandwidth. All board connector systems are fully compliant with SAS 2.1 and SAS 3.0, enabling seamless migration from SAS 2.1 to SAS 3.0 without requiring any part number or design changes. Both Amphenol systems are terminated to the PCB via eye-of-the-needle terminations in a single-step process.
