Analog Devices Inc. MAX20766 Smart Slave IC

Analog Devices Inc. MAX20766 Smart Slave IC is designed to work with ADI's seventh-generation controller to implement a high-density multiphase voltage regulator. Up to six smart slave ICs and a controller IC, provide a compact synchronous buck converter that includes accurate individual phase-current and temperature reporting through SMBus/PMBus™.

ADI MAX20766 Smart Slave IC offers many protection circuits for overtemperature, VX short, and all power-supply UVLO faults. The device immediately shuts down if a fault is detected and sends a signal to the controller IC.

The MAX20766 is offered in a 16-pin FCQFN package with exposed top-side thermal pads. The top-side cooling improves heat transfer to ambient and decreases PCB and component temperatures.
