Hirose Electric IT8 High-Speed 56Gbps BGA Mezzanine Connectors
Hirose Electric IT8 High-Speed 56Gbps BGA Mezzanine Connectors allow for self-alignment during mating with up to ±1.5mm tolerance in both the X and Y directions. These connectors are available in either two- or three-piece types with stacking heights of 10mm to 13mm and 14mm to 46mm, respectively. The two-piece type is designed with a soldering process-friendly BGA plug and receptacle, while the three-piece type has two plugs assembled onto PWBs, and a separate, configurable interposer completes the connections between circuits and boards.
IT8 connectors feature a quasi-coaxial structure and polarity-swap FEXT canceling technology, making them an extremely reliable and flexible solution for high-speed system designs. By combining signal pin counts, high signal pin counts of 120, 192, or 288 can be achieved. Hirose Electric IT8 Mezzanine Connectors handle up to ±2.0mm misalignment in the X axis and Y axis, allowing multiple IT8 connectors to be mounted on a single PCB.
