Infineon Technologies CY8CKIT-146 PSOC™ 4200D Prototyping Kit

Infineon Technologies CY8CKIT-146 PSOC™ 4200D Prototyping Kit enables designers to evaluate and develop solutions using the PSOC 4200D device. The PSOC 4200D device is a true, programmable embedded system-on-chip (SOC). The PSOC 4200D integrates custom digital peripheral functions, memory, and an Arm® Cortex®-M0 microcontroller on a single chip. The Arm Cortex-M0 core includes up to 64KB flash, 8KB SRAM, eight-channel DMA, four timer/counter/PWM blocks, three serial communication blocks, two low-power comparators, four universal digital blocks, and 21 general-purpose I/Os with eight serving as Smart I/Os™.

The PSOC 4200DS Prototyping Kit includes Infineon's Universal Digital Block as a programmable solution that works with the support of PSOC Creator IDE for flexible embedded design. The prototyping kit lets designers quickly evaluate and develop with the digital programmable features on a 48MHz Cortex-M0 64KB flash MCU in the 28SSOP package. Infineon also offers a WLCSP package with the same feature in an ultra-small 2.1mm x 2.1mm size enabling full MCU plus digital programmable functionalities.

The CY8CKIT-146 PSOC 4200D Prototyping Kit provides easy access to all the device I/Os in a breadboard-compatible format. The board includes an LED and a push button. This kit also contains an onboard programmer and debugger. The onboard programmer and debugger were designed using PSOC 5LP and can support industry-standard programming interfaces such as CMSIS-DAP and Drag-and-Drop programming. Designed with a snap-away form factor, designers can separate the KitProg (onboard programmer and debugger) from the target board and use them independently.
