MEAN WELL DBUF20/40 DIN Rail Buffer Modules

MEAN WELL DBUF20/40 DIN Rail Buffer Modules can be used with DIN rail power supplies to provide short-term backup for the load. The units enter the buffer mode when the AC mains power is temporarily suspended or interrupted. The function offers stable 24VDC to extend the system operation time, and the buffer time depends on the load current. MEAN WELL DBUF20/40 DIN Rail Buffer Modules can sustain a 20A load for 350ms and a 40A load for 250ms.

The main feature is to provide a short buffer time through the internal electrolytic capacitor energy storage. The system does not have an external battery, meaning system maintenance costs are significantly reduced. DBUF20/40 modules come with comprehensive protection features such as overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection and can be connected in parallel to increase the output ampacity or the hold-up time.
