Microchip Technology PIC32MK MCA Curiosity Pro Board (EV15D86A)

Microchip Technology PIC32MK MCA Curiosity Pro Board (EV15D86A) is a demonstration and development platform for the PIC32MK Motor Control (MCA) Microcontrollers. The PIC32MK MCA MCUs combine 32-bit, 120Mhz performance with up to 1MB of ECC-protected Flash memory and a rich peripheral set targeting motor control applications. The devices include a hardware Floating Point Unit (FPU) for efficient and precise execution of floating point operations. Advanced analog features include 12-bit Analog-to-Digital (ADC) modules, fast-response comparators, high-bandwidth op-amps, and 12-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) modules. This family of MCUs also integrates Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) and Quadrature Encoder Interface (QEI) peripherals, ideal for motor control applications.

The Microchip Technology PIC32MK MCA Curiosity Pro Development Board features a pre-installed PIC32MK MCA in an LQFP-48 package. The Curiosity Pro also includes an integrated PICkit™ Onboard 4 (PKoB4) Programmer/Debugger simplifying evaluation. Arduino® Uno R3 or Xplained Pro Compatible Expansion Boards can be used to expand the Development Board's functionality, allowing the user to easily develop BLUETOOTH® audio, Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, and other applications and proof-of-concept designs.
