Murata Electronics Type 2GT-001 Multi-Band LoRa® Connectivity Module
Murata Electronics Type 2GT-001 Multi-Band LoRa® Connectivity Module (LBAA0XV2GT-001) provides multi-band LoRa and Long Range Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (LR-FHSS) communication over 860MHz to 930MHz sub-GHz and 2.4GHz ISM bands with satellite S-band connectivity. (Radio Law certification has already been obtained for major regions.) The 2.4GHz ISM band support streamlines inventory management, ensuring higher throughput and eliminating European duty cycle limitations. With the 2.1GHz satellite S-Band, customers can communicate directly with S-Band satellites using this highly integrated Type 2GT module. The multi-band LoRa connectivity module offers an ultra-low power design for extended battery life, superior sensitivity, and industry-leading quality and reliability to build cost-optimized end devices suited for various Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
Based upon Semtech’s third-generation LoRa Connect™ LR1121 transceiver, the Type 2GT-001 module features a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO), crystal oscillators, matching network, RF switch, and multiple communication interfaces including SPI and various GPIOs. The 9.98mm × 8.70mm × 1.74mm (maximum) module operates from -40°C to +85°C. The Type 2GT-001 module helps designers to develop solutions that meet the most demanding requirements, especially in Internet of Things (IoT) applications such as smart home, agricultural sensors, building automation, smart cities, asset tracking, retail store sensors, smart meters, environmental sensors, and many more.
