Navitas Semiconductor GaNSense™ Half-Bridge Power ICs
Navitas Semiconductor GaNSense™ Half-Bridge Power ICs are fully integrated and protected GaN ICs with bidirectional lossless current sensing. These power ICs deliver 4% higher efficiency, 15% lower system cost, and a 40% smaller footprint. The GaNSense half-bridge power ICs combine two GaN FETs in a half-bridge configuration with drive, control, sensing, and autonomous protection. These ICs provide autonomous low-current standby mode and autonomous synchronous rectification mode. The GaNSense half-bridge power ICs include several safety features, such as high- and low-side short circuit protection, Over-Temperature Protection (OTP), and 2kV ESD on all pins. Typical applications include air conditioners, heat pumps, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and hair dryers. For low-power industrial drives, applications range from pumps to circulators and fans.The ICs integrate GaNSense™ motor drive technology, which enables real-time, accurate sensing of voltage, current and temperature to improve performance and robustness. These half-bridge power ICs comply with RoHS, Pb-free, and REACH.
