Olimex Ltd. MOD-WIFI-ESP8266-DEV Development Board
Olimex MOD-WIFI-ESP8266-DEV Development Board is tiny and can add Wi-Fi® capabilities to existing boards. The board uses the ESP8266EX chip. All chip signals are exposed for easier access. The board can be soldered to a PCB or used with a breadboard. Pads are provided for UEXT and an external antenna.
The Olimex MOD-WIDI-ESP8266-DEV is development board with the famous ESP8266EX Wi-Fi IC. The module comes with 2MB (16Mb) of SPI flash memory, and all GPIO resources are available for breadboarding. The I2C and SPI interfaces are also available, and it's easy to implement the module into an existing design. The module can be used for home automation, smart plugs and lights, mesh networks, industrial wireless control, baby monitors, IP cameras, sensor networks, wearable electronics and more.
