Renesas Electronics Edge Computing for Security Systems

Renesas Electronics Edge Computing for Security Systems provide a means to process data at the edge of the network to gain useful and actionable insights at local application level. This edge computing design features a high-performance and suitable Microprocessor (MPU) RZ/A2M with embedded 4MB RAM and Dynamically Reconfigurable Processor (DRP) technology. This design demonstrates a full security control solution capability utilizing MPU devices for fast local processing. The edge computing for security systems' high-capacity internal RAM and DRP technology delivers 10x image processing performance. This edge computing design offers a rich connection interface, including MIPI for the camera, 2-port Ethernet, RS-485, CAN, USB, and Hyper-Bus. The edge computing for security systems also utilizes RS-485 transceiver, DC/DC, LDO, and temperature/humidity sensors that provide leading accuracy and excellent stability.
