Renesas Electronics ZSSC3240 Evaluation Kit
Renesas Electronics ZSSC3240 Evaluation Kit provides the hardware required for the sensor module configuration, laboratory setup, calibration, and evaluation of the ZSSC3240 Sensor Signal Conditioner (SSC) IC. This evaluation kit is mainly designed for enabling communication between the user and the ZSSC324x device with the Graphical User Interface (GUI). The ZSSC3240 evaluation board can connect to the sensor or to the SSC Sensor Replacement Board (SRB). This SRB provides a replacement for an actual sensor and can be used for the first step of calibration or a dry-run calibration. The I²C, SPI, or OWI communication interfaces enable quick and easy configuration and calibration of the ZSSC324x using the user’s computer.

Features
- I²C, SPI or OWI communication interface enables quick and easy configuration and calibration of the ZSSC324x
- A potentiometer on the SSC SRB controls a voltage that simulates a sensor signal ranging from 2mV to 110mV:
- Can be used as input to the analog frontend of the ZSSC324x for demonstrating a “dry-run” calibration
- Modular design allows reuse of kit components for evaluation of select ZSSC324x products
- Clamshell 24-PQFN socket for ZSSC324x Device Under Test (DUT) facilitates testing multiple DUTs without soldering
