Renesas Electronics RX26T 32-Bit Microcontrollers
Renesas Electronics RX26T 32-Bit Microcontrollers are 5V-compatible devices featuring dual-motor control using Field Oriented Control (FOC) and Power Factor Correction (PFC) control on a single chip. The RX26T RXv3 core is a 3rd generation RX CPU core with a 120MHz operating frequency, flash memory capable of 120MHz read operations, and a trigonometric function unit (TFUv2) that delivers high compute performance.
The Renesas RX26T Microcontrollers support 120MHz PWM (3-phase complementary x 2-ch + single-phase complementary x 2-ch) timer functions, and the analog function is offered by 12-bit A/D converter x 3 units (2 units with a 3-ch simultaneous sample and hold circuit).
The RX26T lineup includes:
• A HOCO with guaranteed oscillation accuracy of ±1.0% (-20°C≤Ta)
• Data flash memory
• A single-ended PGA
• A comparator
• Other components in a compact QFN package attributed to a reduction in the number of components and space-saving
Additionally, the device includes CAN-FD for high-speed inter-device communication and I3C Basic for high-speed communication with sensors that enable faster data transfers. The flash memory has a dual bank configuration and the BGO/SWAP function to allow firmware rewriting without system stoppage. Trusted Secure IP-Lite, with its integrated essential management function and cryptographic engine, reduces the risk of information leaks from the system.
