STMicroelectronics STA8135GA Automotive GNSS Precise Engine Receiver is a multi-band, multi-constellation positioning receiver IC that manages all the GNSS constellations such as GPS, Galileo, Glonass, BeiDou, NAVIC (former IRNSS), and QZSS in the L1, L2, L5, and E6 frequency bands. The STA8135GA IC receives three frequencies (L1/L2/L5 or L1/L5/E6) simultaneously in a single package without the need for an external RF front-end. This MultiChipModule (MCM) combines a STA8100GA and a STA5635A in a single package. Via a serial interface, the STA8135GA provides precise raw measurements of all the visible GNSS satellites and runs any possible exact precision algorithm to the host. Using satellite constellations, the precise engine receiver IC also offers the host an autonomous precision positioning calculation.
