Texas Instruments DRV5825PEVM Amplifier Evaluation Module (EVM)
Texas Instruments DRV5825PEVM Amplifier Evaluation Module (EVM) showcases a TI digital input Class-D closed-loop amplifier for a Piezo application. The Texas Instruments DRV5825P is a digital input Class-D audio amplifier with a Smart Piezo Driver Algorithm. The evaluation module can be used as a stand-alone platform with default I2C register settings. The evaluation module also works with PurePath™ Console 3 (PPC3) GUI for programming I2C register settings.

- Two 2Ω to 8Ω piezoelectric actuators or resistor loads (ensure the load is appropriately sized for required wattage output) and cables
- Small screwdriver
- Desktop or laptop running Microsoft® Windows® 7 or later
- Audio source
- Sony/Philips Digital Interface (S/PDIF) source (DVD, audio converter, Audio Precision (AP®))
- Playback media from Microsoft Windows 7 or later
- 3mm audio jack analog output
