Texas Instruments OPA830 Low-Power Single-Supply Wideband Op Amps

Texas Instruments OPA830 Low-Power Single-Supply Wideband Operational Amplifiers (Op Amps) are voltage-feedback amplifiers designed to operate on a single +5V or +3V supply. Operation on +10V or ±5V supplies is also supported. The input range extends below the negative supply and within 1.7V of the positive supply. Complementary common-emitter outputs provide an output swing within 25mV of either supply while driving 150. A high output drive current (±80mA), low differential gain, and phase errors are ideal for single-supply consumer video products.

The slew rate (550V/µs) and high gain bandwidth product (110MHz) ensure low distortion operation. This makes the OPA830 an ideal input buffer stage for 5V and 3V CMOS ADCs. Unlike other single-supply devices, low-power distortion performance improves as the signal swing is decreased. A low 9.2nV/Hz input voltage noise supports wide dynamic range operation.

The Texas Instruments OPA830 is available in an industry-standard SO-8 package and an ultra-small SOT-23-5 package. Consider using the OPA832 for fixed-gain line driver applications.
