TRACO Power TIM 2 & TIM 2SM DC/DC Converters
TRACO Power TIM 2 and TIM 2SM DC/DC Converters are fully regulated 2W high-performance DC/DC converters with a reinforced 5000VAC/RMS isolation for medical applications. The reinforced I/O-isolation system complies with the medical safety requirements for 2 x MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) according to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition. These TRACO Power converters feature less than 2µA leakage current and are designed to insulate electrical equipment from the applied parts to the patient (BF classification).
The TIM 2/2SM DC/DC converters operate within the extended -40°C to +95°C temperature range. These converters are available in compact footprints measuring only 0.95" x 0.57" x 0.40” and either a DIP-16 or SMD package. The TIM 2 and 2SM converters are suitable for B or BF-rated medical equipment, industrial control equipment, measurement equipment, transportation systems, and some IGBT driver applications.
