Digi XBee Wi-SUN modules and Digi XBee Hive Wi-SUN routers, now at Mouser, work together seamlessly to enable scalable edge connectivity. Based on Wi-SUN, the modules support secure, scalable IP-based wireless mesh networking and are ideal for smart metering, street lighting, and infrastructure monitoring. Digi XBee Wi-SUN modules are built on the Silicon Labs EFR32FG2x SoCs with Secure Vault™ for reliability and security in critical applications. Operating in sub-GHz frequency bands, the modules enable long-range communication with minimal interference from other wireless devices. Digi XBee Wi-SUN modules offer robust performance in outdoor environments and are optimized for low latency and high reliability, including in dense urban deployments. Digi XBee Hive Border Routers are compact, cost-effective Wi-SUN border routers with network scalability up to 300 connected Wi-SUN nodes.

Digi XBee Hive border routers feature dual Cortex-A7 at 650 MHz and a Cortex-M4 core at 209 MHz, built-in LTE, Wi-Fi^®, and Ethernet connectivity, and edge computing capabilities with support for Linux Container and Python 3. With IPv6/IPv4 to address translation, the border routers easily integrate into existing networks. Users of Digi XBee Wi-SUN modules and Digi XBee Hive Wi-SUN routers can take advantage of Digi Remote Manager to deploy, monitor, and manage devices from a single point of command.
