Nexperia NMUX130x Analog Multiplexers/Demultiplexers
Nexperia NMUX130x Analog Multiplexers / Demultiplexers are general-purpose, CMOS, bi-directional analog switches with a 1.5V to 5.5V operating voltage range. These devices are compatible with industry-standard 4851 and 4051 devices and are available as an 8-channel analog switch (NMUX1308) or a dual 4-channel analog switch (NMUX1309). The NMUX130x components extend the digital logic thresholds to be compatible with 1.8V systems without the need for voltage translation.Analog signal pins, comprised of a common input/output (Z) and eight independent inputs/outputs (Y0 to Y7), are bi-directional and support a voltage range from GND to VCC. All analog signal pins integrate injection current control circuitry to isolate overvoltage spikes on disconnected analog signal pins. This prevents coupling to the connected analog signal path, preserving measurement accuracy and making the use of external overvoltage clamp components (e.g., resistive diode network) unnecessary.
Four control signal pins (S0, S1, S2, and E) support 1.8V logic thresholds across all operating voltages. S0, S1, and S2 determine the analog channels to connect between Z and Yn. Control signal pin E can override S0, S1, and S2, disconnecting all analog channels. In addition, these pins are 5.5V tolerant, enabling up to 5.5V operation independent of the supply voltage. Nexperia NMUX130x-Q100 Analog Multiplexers / Demultiplexers are qualified for the Automotive Electronics Council (AEC) standard Q100 (Grade 1) and are suitable for use in automotive applications.
