Renesas Electronics RA4M3 32-Bit Microcontroller Group
Renesas Electronics RA4M3 32-Bit Microcontroller Group is a family of MCUs based on the 100MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core. The RA4M3 MCUs feature up to 1MB code flash memory with background and SWAP operation, 8KB Data flash memory, and 128KB SRAM with Parity/ECC. These highly-integrated devices also include USB 2.0 Full-Speed, SDHI, Quad SPI, a Capacitive Touch Sensing Unit (CTSU), and advanced analog peripherals. Secure element functionality is provided by an integrated Secure Crypto Engine with cryptography accelerators, key management support, tamper detection, and power analysis resistance in concert with Arm TrustZone®.
The RA4M3 MCUs are built on a highly efficient 40nm process and are supported by an open and flexible ecosystem concept, the Flexible Software Package (FSP), built on FreeRTOS. These devices are also expandable to use other real-time operating systems (RTOS) and middleware. The RA4M3 MCUs are suitable for IoT applications requiring vast communication options, future-proof security, large embedded RAM, and low active power consumption down to 119µA/MHz running the CoreMark® algorithm from Flash.
The Renesas Electronics RA4M3 32-Bit Microcontrollers are offered in 64-pin, 100-pin, and 144-pin LQFP packages, with a -40℃ to +105℃ ambient operating temperature range.
