STMicroelectronics Low Quiescent Current LDO Linear Regulators
STMicroelectronics Low Quiescent Current LDO Linear Regulators are optimized to operate with a drastically low quiescent current (IQ). The IQ is lower than or comparable to the average load current it supplies. This feature is necessary for power-budgeted applications, like battery-powered devices or green-compliant equipment with a long standby operation. This extends battery life and reduces the overall power consumption.
These STMicroelectronics low quiescent current LDO regulators are ideal for portable consumer devices like smartphones, smartwatches, BLUETOOTH® earphones, and wearables. Industrial, smart building and smart-home sensors also benefit from low quiescent current in operating and disabled (standby) modes. Other applications include smart meters, healthcare devices, and coin-cell-powered devices.
