onsemi 600V Compact Intelligent Power Modules
onsemi 600V Compact Intelligent Power Modules are fully integrated inverter power stages. These modules consist of a high-voltage driver, six IGBTs, and a thermistor. These onsemi modules are suitable for driving permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM), brushless-DC (BLDC) motors, and AC asynchronous motors.
The IGBTs are configured in a 3-phase bridge with separate emitter connections for the lower legs. This configuration offers maximum flexibility in the choice of a control algorithm. The power stage has a full range of protection functions including cross-conduction protection, external shutdown and under-voltage lockout functions. An internal comparator and reference connected to the over-current protection circuit allows the designer to set the over-current protection level.
