onsemi Mainstream CMOS Image Sensors provide a wide range of performance, size, power, and resolution options that meet IoT ecosystem and use model requirements. The CMOS image sensors use advanced CMOS manufacturing processes that allow for great imaging. These include a vibrant color image for human viewing, detailed monochromatic image used in machine vision, and light industrial use. The mainstream image sensors feature VGA to 18MP resolution, 30fps to 120fps frame rate, and 1.1µm to 6µm pixel size. Typical applications include smart lighting, connected doorbells, appliances, robots, and 2D scanners.
